What is ecology?
It is a science about the structure and function of nature, dealing with the study of interactions between organisms and their environment and between them. It is commonly referred to as an action promoting the protection of the environment.
What is sustainable development?
This is a development in which the needs of the present generation can be met without compromising the chances of future generations to meet them.
By definition, sustainable development comes primarily from forestry. It originally meant a way of managing the forest, by the fact that only as many trees could be squeezed as it could grow in this area so that the forest would never be eradicated. At present, this definition is not confined to the forestry zone alone and represents the interrelationships of nature, economy and society.
